Complete original correspondence course designed by Martin Stevens with contemporary contributions by Jim Menke, Rick Morse, Ronnie Burkett, and Luman Coad. The Course was different from the usual how-to books which began with creating a puppet then coming up with a show. Stevens' approach was to begin with the idea of a production, then create the puppets to suit the concept. Twenty color reproductions of Stevens' Puppet posters are included along with 162 line drawings and 20 color plates.
